Subscriber communication

People pay to read you. Treat their inbox accordingly.

A subscriber has made a decision a free reader has not: they pay. What reaches them by email should respect that — the new issue when it is out, the renewal well before the card is charged, the receipt afterwards. Premium NST sends this mail for publishers, magazines and paid newsletters, to their paying readers and to nobody else.

What publishers send through us

Welcome

Access details, what the subscription includes and how to manage it — on the day it starts.

New issue

A short note with the table of contents when an issue or edition appears, for subscribers who want it.

Renewal notice

Sent in good time before an automatic renewal, with the price, the date and a one-click way to cancel.

Payments and receipts

Receipts after each charge and a factual note if a payment failed — never a threat, never a countdown.

Our principles

Subscriptions live from renewals, and renewals live from trust. These principles protect both.

Paying readers only

We write to active subscribers and to those whose subscription just ended — not to trial sign-ups who never converted, unless they asked for news.

No surprise charges

Every automatic renewal is announced in advance, with a working cancellation link in the same message.

Cancelling is as easy as subscribing

No hotline, no retention maze. After cancellation, one confirmation — then silence.

Reader data stays with the publisher

Subscriber lists are never rented, swapped or shared with other titles, not even within the same publishing group.
